Since its opening in June of 2003, Jasper's Plano has been named one of the The Best New Restaurants in America by Esquire Magazine, Best Restaurant Design by Dallas Area Restaurateurs in D Magazine Jasper's, a comfortably upscale restaurant, features a menu focused on the best of America's regional cuisine, including rotisserie chicken, fish, steaks, salads, and pizza. "Jasper's serves the type of food you'd get at my house if I were cooking," says Executive Chef Kent Rathbun. "We want this to be a place where diners can visit whether they're looking for an inexpensive light meal or a higher-end dining experience-we've got it all." With the success of this location, Chef Rathbun has decided to expand his concept to The Woodlands, Texas.
The new location located in Market Street: The Woodlands, features a casual design with a "modern outdoors" theme. The interior incorporates stained concrete floors, teak outdoor-style furniture, bamboo planters, dramatic lighting and artistic-interpretations of natural elements into the overall design scheme. Award-winning Engstrom Design Group of San Francisco, who also designed Abacus in Dallas and Jasper's in Plano, wanted to keep the same elements as the Plano location, but give it its own unique stamp. Over the past four years, Kent traveled to New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago with the Engstom design team to research design ideas from some of the hottest restaurants around. We know you will agree that the results are amazing!
For that special occasion or a business function, Jasper's can offer you several alternatives --- a board room enclosed with frosted glass and a private room which overlooks the restaurant. The private room is perfect for presentations, social events or business meetings. Both the board room and private room are equipped with high speed wired and wireless internet connections to facilitate presentations. And if you are looking for a place to get together before or after meal times, you will quickly discover that the bar is an incredible place to hang out, with a comfortable and energetic lounge area, plasma screen televisions to watch your favorite teams, and a talented bar staff that can mix your favorite cocktail or one of our own creations! The patio overlooks Market Street, where concerts and other happenings will occur.
